Requirements:

• You are a Full stack software developer with 5-10+ years of experience who enjoys solving complex problems.
• You have prior experience in a technical leadership position.
• You speak Typescript/JavaScript, CSS, HTML and few other dialects.
• You are comfortable writing automated tests alongside features and bug fixes.
• You have a knack for writing scalable, maintainable code
• You are able to independently envision solutions and write clean code to implement them.
• You have a Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• You are eligible / legally entitled to work in Canada.

Desired Skills:

• You have some experience in building applications using I AWS services like Lambdas, Step Functions, AppSync, API Gateway, etc.
• Knowledge of any of: Angular, Bootstrap, Gulp, WebPack, TeamCity, Scrum/Agile methodologies, Azure, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with User Interface expertise to help build and evolve our internally facing web platform.

Role!

Innovation: Develop UI screens make applications work intuitively and render designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code. Optimize user interaction to work on any surface such as desktop, mobile, etc. Develop backend RESTful APIs for UI with low latency, robustness, and scalability.

Delivery: Strengthen the application with high security and ensure the system is built for expansion and offers a delightful user experience, reliability, and resiliency.

Opportunity Summary:

To work as a Software Engineer within the BlueVenn R&D team on transformation projects with the Engage and Unify software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing their own plans that are reviewed by their supervisor or a more senior team member
• Mostly involved in only one project at a time
• Scope of tasks may span projects with interfaces limited to peers within their area of expertise
• Participate in code reviews, quotes, and estimations.
• Actively participate in technical or architectural discussion
• Develop programming code within their own product and potentially other UdhamDigital products.
• Implement pieces of larger software systems
• Work with other stakeholders to design and implement software systems that could be large and complex in nature
• Act as lead on projects/features of a moderately complex nature
• Work with development and cross-functional staff to implement design features according to specifications

Opportunity Summary

As a principal back-end software engineer, you’ll contribute to our product using your software engineering skills, working with a team to produce high quality software at a fast pace. Your day-to-day will be spent writing code, participating in code reviews, improving our technical infrastructure, spearheading large projects, suggesting and implementing better tooling, doing foundational project work to lay the groundwork for future initiatives, and advising your team on technical matters.

Tech Stack 

Our primary application is a RESTful JSON WebApi built with C# in ASP.NET Framework. We use a mixture of both LINQ and stored procedures in our Entity Framework code first data repository connected to SQL Server databases. We also have several libraries using .NET Standard and .NET Framework. For caching, we use AWS Elasticache wih a Redis implementation. We use Autofac for dependency injection and AutoMapper for converting from entities to views. Some of our newer stand-alone console applications use .NET 5.0.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working within our agile development teams and be involved throughout the full development lifecycle of the Postup development team with particular responsibility in the development & maintenance of our software platform. You'll be involved in all aspects of the team including the creation and elaboration of business requirements, functional/design specifications, development and maintenance of our software.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject - or equivalent work experience
• Strong experience of developing Enterprise Java applications within an Agile environment

• Working with enterprise application stacks (e.g. JMS, Tomcat)
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server
• Strong experience with reporting technologies and log streaming platforms such as Kafka/Snowflake
